THINKING ACTUALLY!
I ministered the word with all my heart when I ministered and feel I’ve preached truth. I’ve moved at what I felt to be God’s will. I read the word and I studied it; I prayed the word and felt the presence of the LORD. I prayed, praised, and preached and seen souls saved, bodies healed, and deliverance. I believe in all these things and I know I serve a God of impossibilities.
I have seen far too many miracles to doubt what God can do. Yet the very thing I sought to do the most has evaded me and was not had. Now I am far removed. I feel like a nomad with no continuing city while I’ve watched others become well established in one location. The world at large seems oblivious to its own demise and yet it dredges on forging its moral decay. The spirit of anti-God is alive and prospering profusely.
Psalms 9:13-14
(13) Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
(14) That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
I believe the devil is doing everything he can to distract me and to get my focus on the wrong things. I guarantee he knows our hot buttons to push to get at our hearts; especially when we are going through the midst of change. Each of us is having different problems; one with one thing and another with another. But at the end of the day we all are the same. I am a spirit, I have a soul and I live in a body which has its own appointed time for earthly departure. In this world of turmoil and troublesome events the people are on edge; the wicked get wickeder; the violent get more violent; and the gossipers are in full force. One bites the back of another and takes no thought while another connives and thrives on the agitation. Filthiness flows out of mouths like sewage water and the name of Jesus is bellowed out instantly blasphemed and profaned; used vainly as some kind of badge of welcomed banter of morale. Then there is the hateful and the spiteful heart filled with anger and bitterness toward others that only veils the hidden jealousy.
O envious soul that does rage within; O soul deplete of depth within; thou that plots an evil deed; doth only sow to thy own demise. Woe to those who hinder his child; to thy own soul God’s anger be riled. Doeth thou hate the children of light; consider your lives to be affright. Doeth thou hate thine own soul, turn to God be made whole. O envy that eats thy heart with hate; God can change thy blighted fate.
Prejudice is a spirit one allows to be planted in the heart; hatred is his father and agitator is his brother. Hardness is the companion of a sin sick soul. The heart demands the tongue to give free course, and slander is the fruit of his passion. A smile is deceitful camouflage but the eyes tell the story; the words are harmonious but the heart is cold as stone.
O Lord let me seek not the destruction of the wicked; yea let my prayer bring salvation. I am mocked as awkward and derelict with no understanding. Let me sing a psalm of grace; let not my soul dwindle in darkness or fall prey to my emotions. Lord, when my enemy encompasses me on every side; and seek my destruction let my eyes look to you my redeemer and my deliverer. Let not my mouth strike back in hatred, but let your love shine at that time. Let coals of fiery conviction fall as I lift my praise toward you.
(6) For affliction doesn’t come out of the dust, neither does trouble spring out of the ground;
(7) but man is born to trouble, as the sparks fly upward.
(8) “But as for me, I would seek God. I would commit my cause to God,
(9) who does great things that can’t be fathomed, marvelous things without number; Job 5:6-9
I will say of the Lord he is my security, he is my strong and sturdy wall. He settles my soul in the midst of trouble; he is my anchor in the turbulent seas; I surrender to his serenity and breathe a sigh of relief; for I am secure in the knowledge to live is Christ and to die is gain. Weren’t these things prophesied that it should be thus and so they are! Blessed assurance Jesus is mine! Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
